Give your map a title and a brief description using the available text boxes, and then choose to make your map public or private. From the options that appear, click the “Create New Map” button. Below the Google Maps logo, click the “My places” link. To begin creating your map, go to the Google Maps home page. You can also embed this Google Map onto your website. After you use our Google Maps Generator, you can publish it for all to see or keep it for your own private use. This customization allows you to create maps for special purposes.
These maps can be annotated using landmarks, routes, custom shapes, text, and more. “My Maps” is a service run by Google Maps that allows users to create and save custom maps.
